Winner 2026 Barbieri Excellence Award - Business Performance

Business scenario:

The company operates in the garment manufacturing industry, with a strong focus on sportswear production and sublimation-based textiles.

Typical applications include jerseys, functional training apparel, and customized teamwear.

The business is export-oriented, primarily serving markets in the USA and Europe.

Excellence matters:

We were facing some challenges with color consistency in our sublimation printing. Sometimes the same design looked slightly different after heat pressing or when printed on different fabric types.

Another challenge was that we have two sublimation printers so it was important for us to keep the colors consistent between both machines especially for large production orders. Without proper color measurement the same design could appear a little different from one printer to the other.

Before using a spectrophotometer we mostly depended on visual judgment, which is not always accurate. This sometimes meant doing several test prints until we reached the right color.

Our goal was to improve color accuracy and make sure the colors stay consistent across different fabrics, printers, and production batches.

We chose Barbieri instruments because they help us measure colors accurately and create better color profiles, which makes it much easier to keep consistent results in our production.

Barbieri instruments help us maintain consistent colors across our sublimation printers and production runs.
